Cafe Tabac is a small, family run restaurant located at the top of Bold Street.
Opening in 1974, Tabac (as it's known locally) provides high quality food, drinks and service from 9am right up until 1am, every day. This is a hidden gem in Liverpool, charming, dark, and full of dark corners, for doing dark deeds (stolen line from Love Actually) this tiny cafe has a secret cinema that hosts weekly movie nights every Monday. As well as creative cocktails and a delicious food menu Cafe Tabac regularly puts on fabulous film to perk up a gloomy start to the week. Popular choices include good old movies like The Big Lebowski and the Godfather, to RomComs. As well as animations such as Disney’s, The Lion King.
Food-wise, the veggie breakfast for me is one of the best in town, a good cup of Joe to wash it down, and great place to people watch too.
